PH is usually not an issue for us so not sure how that would affect you also crop rotational restrictions could be an issue as some replant intervals are very long w/ Authority XL. Usually mix it with gly and other broadleave materials as marestail is an issue here.this year we also included 2 oz of metribuzin. Sometimes after using it I have wandered whether a post application of glyphosate was needed but never had the nerve to not do and we are only running 1/2 rate - 3.2 oz. We have used Authority XL on our dryland acres and have liked it. the one downfall I have with boundary is a little weak on large seeded broadleaves like giant ragweed so that's where the sonic comes in. Post - You are run flexstar or cobra to clean up anything that was missed. I have seen 24D injury beans in the past but i know guys that do run it.īurndown -I like Authority Assist (5-7oz ) + Sencor (1/3 lbs ) (glory or metribuzin is the samething ) + 1 qt of powermax I also do not like 24D in front of beans as well. Not a big fan of Authority XL because of the classic in the mix, I would never run a full rate of Authority XL. Has anyone ever used full rate and skipped a follow up? Thanks!! Question is, would full rate be better or waste of $$$? Only problem is waterhemp. ( Applied lime 2 years ago and it is improving slowly. They suggested full rate on Authority XL, I did a search on hear and it looks like most on here that used it went with a 1/2 rate then a follow up! My PH is a little low around 5.8 to 6.0ĭepending on field. Talked to local coop about Pre & burndown for Soybeans they said most are going with Authority XL (full rate ), Powermax, and 24d. I am new to this as stated in a post a few days ago and thanks for the suggestion given there. Still trying to figure out Pre and Burndown for soybeans.
